Abstract:Eight-year-old Rebecca Winstead is a confident, self-reliant little girl, a natural performer who wins a nation-wide talent contest. In order to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to become a radio star, she must win the approval of her severe Aunt Miranda, who wants her to remain on Sunnybrook Farm. She also has to outwit her conniving stepfather, who has a habit of putting his best interests before hers.
